Anti-Discrimination Policy

This Anti-Discrimination Policy Gilead Healing Center affirms our commitment to ensuring equal access to care, patient rights protection, and fostering a welcoming, safe healthcare environment for all individuals.
1. Policy Statement
Gilead Healing Center complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, marital status, or source of payment in its programs and activities, including in admission, treatment, or participation in programs. We are committed to providing culturally competent care to all patients.
2. Prohibited Discriminatory Actions
Gilead Healing Center and its personnel shall not, on the basis of any protected status (including but not limited to the categories listed in Section 1), take any of the following actions:
- Deny or limit access to services, facilities, or privileges.
- Provide a service or benefit that is different, or is provided in a different manner, than that provided to others.
- Subject any person to harassment, intimidation, or abuse.
- Deny or limit access to any patient rights, privileges, or responsibilities.
- Refuse to grant reasonable accommodation for disabilities or language barriers.
3. Communication and Assistance
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that people who are limited in English proficiency (LEP) or deaf/hard of hearing have meaningful access to our programs and services.
- **Language Services:** We provide free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, such as qualified sign language interpreters and written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats). We also provide free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as qualified interpreters and information written in other languages.
4. Patient Rights and Responsibilities
All patients have the right to:
- Receive care in a safe and welcoming environment, free from discrimination.
- Have their dignity, privacy, and personal beliefs respected.
- Voice complaints or grievances regarding discrimination or treatment quality without fear of retaliation.
- Receive adequate and clear information about their condition and treatment options.
5. Reporting a Grievance
If you believe that Gilead Healing Center has failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex, you can file a grievance with our Compliance Officer. We will investigate all complaints promptly and confidentially.
Filing Instructions:
Grievances must be submitted in writing, signed by the patient or their representative, and contain the name, address, and phone number of the person filing the grievance. The complaint should be sent to:
